* The right to be informed about treatment methods, benefits, alternatives, and complications, and to participate in treatment decisions.
* The right to give prior, informed, written consent before any interventional or surgical procedure.
* The right to know the prices of services before receiving treatment.
* The right to receive appropriate pain treatment.
* The right to have their complaints and suggestions addressed and responded to without prejudice to the medical services provided.
* The right to refuse care and discontinue treatment after being informed of the consequences.
* The right to obtain a second medical opinion from inside or outside the hospital.

Duties of the patient and their family:

* Not to withhold any medical information that would aid in the patient’s diagnosis and treatment.
* Adhere to instructions related to the medical care plan in accordance with the physician’s orders and participate in decision-making.
