The medical team at Ganzouri Specialized Hospital has succeeded in removing a tumor by laparoscopy for a child not more than 16 days old. The child was received in the emergency department suffering from shortness of breath, and by conducting a set of analysis and x-rays necessary for an accurate diagnosis, it was found that there was a tumor in the upper lobe of the lung. The laparoscopic removal of the tumor took more than 3 hours until the child was in a stable health condition in terms of vital functions and the percentage of oxygen in the blood.
